The billing module is designed to offer a quick method for viewing a patients charges and collect payment for services. Click the Billing button on the ribbon to view the screen below.
Select a patient and select a encounter sheet to view. Once chosen the encounter sheet will show in the bottom box.
The user can enter a payment by selecting cash, check or Credit Card and entering the amount in the amount paid box. In addition, the user can add a comment in the checkout comment box. This comment will print on the receipt which can be printed by clicking the [print receipt] button at the bottom of the page.
