The Delete ICON Button provides the deletion of a selected appointment or the cancelling of an appointment. To delete or cancel an appointment, select the appointment slot to be deleted or cancelled, click the Delete ICON Button as displayed in Appointment Scheduling Front Desk Figure 39.
The Delete Dialog Screen Front Desk Figure 40 will be displayed. Select either the Delete or Cancel Radio Button and click the OK Button, When the Delete option is chosen, the record deleted by this action is not maintained. This action is used when a mistake was made when making the appointment. If an appointment is cancelled then the patient appointment history is marked as such. Both actions will present a confirmation dialog screen to confirm the actions
